blink.fyi is a free economic data dashboard. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site.

What We Collect

blink.fyi does not require you to create an account, and the site has no sign-up, login, or contact form. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information in order to use the site.

Cookies and Local Storage

blink.fyi sets no cookies of its own. The Google advertising script (AdSense) is loaded on every page, and it may set cookies or read device identifiers in your browser when it runs. Google describes how it uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

One page uses your browser local storage to remember a display preference: on the industry outlook page, the industry you select is saved so the page can show it again on your next visit. This is stored only in your own browser, contains nothing but the name of the industry you picked, is never sent to us, and is not used to identify or track you. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.

Advertising and Analytics

No advertisements are displayed on blink.fyi. The Google AdSense script is loaded on every page, so Google receives standard request information such as your IP address and browser user agent, and may set cookies as described above.

blink.fyi runs no analytics or visitor-measurement tools of its own.

If advertisements are shown here in the future, this page will be updated to describe what is served and what choices you have before that happens.

Hosting

The site is hosted as static files on Amazon Web Services S3 and served through Cloudflare. As part of delivering the site, both providers process standard request information such as your IP address, browser user agent, and the pages requested, and both may record that information in server logs and aggregate traffic metrics. We do not receive per-visitor data from either provider.

Both providers serve the site from infrastructure in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your request information is processed there.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
